Hades' Soul is the soul of the God Hades. If a mortal were to obtain it and have it absorbed into his body, he can safely swim through the River Styx and use Hyperion gates because it takes a soul of a god to use the Hyperion gates. During the battle with Hades, Kratos managed to steal the God's weapons, the Claws of Hades, and, after a painful yet short bout, the ruler of the Underworld
These are good interpretations! 😄 Gaia also mentioned that kratos did the impossible a "mortal defeating a god" he didn't know he was a god i dont think but he absolutely had drive and a powerful fighting spirit to kill the furies alongside other powerful beings but you're likely correct this is definitely another factor to consider but he didn't know he was a son of Zeus until athena told
1- When Kratos opened the box in GoW1, the Evils where secretly released and corrupted the gods, Zeus was corrupted by Fear specifically. And the power of Hope secretly stayed inside Kratos. The Fear corrupting Zeus could be a reason why. The Box was also prophesied to be the destruction of the world. After spending much of God of War: Ragnarok fiercely rejecting the idea of war, Kratos is eventually pulled into participating in Ragnarok -- the great war against Asgard. Before that happens, it He leaves her behind and defeats Persephone, chaining Atlas to the world's underside in place of the broken pillar. With Helios restored, Kratos falls from the sun god's temple as it returns to the sky. While he welcomes death, Helios and Athena save him from his untimely demise. The gods have bigger plans in store. There are still hierarchies of power within a pantheon, Kratos is way stronger than the average god since Zues is considered stronger than the average God. Also I'd like to point out that Nolan has battled ancient gods and won, so the gods in Invincible's universe are probably not as powerful as the ones in GoW. When Kratos stole his soul it merged with kratos soul. The same thing went on when Hades killed a titan in the Great war. Hades is long dead along with olyiumpus. There could be cameos from other gods that were not killed. Ive had a little hunch that the lady who knows Kratos in 4 might be Artemis the god of Hunting. yUHlYYd.
