It's equipped with the AMD Ryzen 5 4600H including the AMD Radeon RX Vega 6 graphics solution and 16 GB of DDR4 RAM at 3,200 MHz Depending on the region you live, the processors of choice would be either the Ryzen 5 3500U/Ryzen 7 3700U or the Ryzen 5 4500U/Ryzen 7 4700U. The former duo is a quad-core, eight-thread combo, while the latter two have six cores and eight cores, respectively. Additionally, some units will ship with Intel Comet Lake-U CPUs.
The 4800H has the exact same silicon as the 4800U which is pretty good for battery life, but higher end laptops tend to have larger (and higher refresh rate) screens, fancy RGB, more RAM, larger (or multiple) SSD/HDDs all of which lead to worse battery life. You're right, the boost clocks are the same on both the 4800U and 4800H.

Mostly because of slow and soldered RAM. 8 GB/16 GB DDR4 2666MHz. suntan12 • 3 yr. ago. Unless you want a few extra fps in games going to 3200MHz won't make much difference. They did however go with faster SSD (Samsung/Western Digital) rated at over 3000 MB/s sequential read. I think it was a good trade-off as for these thin and lights most g0JC8.
