Ive had a 2.4 jtdm 159, a 1750 TBi and now a 2.0 jtdm. Would say the 1750 Petrol has been my favourite although loved the 2.4 torque. The 2.0is closer to the 2.4. It’s mapped and has nice torque. I’ve heard the 2.2 is an older engine thirsty for the performance with not a lot of torque and needs a bit of fettling to get the best out of it.
Usuallyput the heater on, and rev up the car to help bleed out air out the system. Not sure about the revs for a diesel, but a petrol car can be 3,000 rpm for a few seconds a number of times. Turn of car, wait for car to cool. Inspect coolant level. Refill.
