Low battery symptoms? 1. Slow start (most obvious) 2. Trans program 3. Gauges go haywire, especially the tach 4. "Floating" gas gauge 5. Dim lights 6. Poor engine responce
One other thing to check is the condition of the positive battery lead where it protrudes though the right-rear wheel well. It can get corroded too. You'll have to peel back the rear of the fender liner and pull the battery to get a good look at both sides. Good luck with it.

Or get a battery charger and charge it overnight === actually new battery chargers will indicate the state of the battery when you connect it up. If the battery don't keep a charge then it is pretty well done..
